1795 Liberty Cap Half Cent Penny - No Pole - Plain Edge
One major variety of the 1795 Liberty Cap Half Cent (Penny) features an error with no pole on the obverse and also have a plain edge. The standard design of liberty on the obverse of the coin depicts a pole with a cap on it. This variety is missing the bottom part of the pole on the right-hand side of the liberty bust. An example image of this is depicted above.

In addition: This variety has a plain smooth edge around the coin. Some coins have a lettered edge but the thinner coins were too thin to have letters on them so they left them plain.
