What this coin looks like (obverse, reverse, mint mark location, special features, etc.):
The 1876 CC Seated Liberty Dime had a major Doubled Die Obverse (DDO) error. The best way to indentify this error is to notice the very prominent doubling of the words "OF AMERICA" on the front of the coin. In addition: A slight doubling of the sitting liberty's gown is noticed towards the bottom near the 1876 date. These features are depicted in the example image of the coin above.
The 1876-CC Seated Liberty Dime (Doubled Die Obverse Variety) is worth $43 in average condition and can be worth $1,182 or more in uncirculated mint condition.
