One major variety is the 1820/19 Capped Bust Half Dollar with a Square Based "2" in the date. The date features an 1820 date struck over an 1819 date which resulted in a 20 over 19 overdate error. The "2" in the date in this particular variety features a flat and square base (as opposed to the other variety which has a curled and curved base).
