This is a very nice 1912-S Semi Key Date Lincoln Cent in Choice Very Fine (Vf-30) with a decent strike that is nearly contact mark free. The color follows about in the middle of the difference between milk chocolate and dark chocolate. David W. Lange's The Complete Guide to Lincoln Cents page 100 (2005 edition) says of the 1912-S that "In lower grades, specimens rarely turned up in circulation after the mid-1950's, and they remain difficult to locate at shows and shops without problems such as corrosion or harsh cleaning. Mid-grade specimens (F-EF) ar particularly elusive." This coin is obviously problem free and will make a great addition to a mid circulated grade set of Lincoln Cents. (Stock #01c1912630 LZBPAP)
