Who don't love rules? MsLeslie don't... that's who! Still... there have to be a few; Otherwise, chaos reigns. So, here are mine: Bidding |
- Please, I am begging you.... Look carefully at the photos before you bid. The item you see is the one you will receive. |
- If you bid and win, there is no need to wait for an invoice before you pay. Truth is... the faster you pay, the more I love you. - If you bid on two or more items, feel free to wait up to three days to let them close. I will try to ship your items together for your convenience, although I do not offer a shipping discount for multiple items. Communication - I'm delighted to get messages and I generally answer them pretty quickly. If you have questions, comments, or just want to tell me that my prices are too high, etc, etc,... please do write. - But.... when it comes to actions, such as cancellations, return requests and the like, I will ask you to initiate those through eBay, using your user account. It's not difficult and it helps to keep a record. Shipping - OK, let's be real here: We both know that nothing is free. I could offer free shipping, but then I would only have to add that cost into the opening bid. I think it's more honest to offer two levels of service and let you choose which you would like to use. You can better judge the amount you care to bid on any item. - Again, the cost of shipping is the cost of shipping. I lose money on supplies, since I do not charge a handling fee. So please... don't ask for a shipping discount. If the cost of shipping is a factor, then reduce the amount of your bid. Returns EZ Peezee! If it's my bad, then I'll pay the return postage. Your bad?... then you pay it. All the usual rules apply... Original holder, no damage and so forth. I keep a photo record of the coins I sell, so if a coin comes back to me, it needs to match the photo.
Well then... not bad for someone who hates rules, eh? But each rule comes from experience. I can remember when eBay was kind of like a neighborhood yard sale; everyone was on their best behavior. But these days, it's more like one of those inner-city school yards, where gunfire can be heard, and bullies try to steal your lunch. The result? Rules!
OK now... let's be careful out there! |
