You can't possibly be missing this coin! With nearly 2 TRILLION produced, the 1964 D can still be found in almost every single roll of nickels. You might find it interesting that one of my photos is a population chart from a recent search of a $100.00 box of bank rolls. (2000 coins sampled). You can see that within current circulated coinage (as of 3-11-16) the 1964 Nickels are the 4th most common coin dated prior to 2000. Only 1999, 1995 and 1989 are more common. But here's one in "Very Fine" condition for 25 cents....while they are EXTREMELY common, they are almost all in VG8 condition or worse.
If you want one in F12 condition...just go out and pick up 5 or 6 coin rolls...and you'll find 5 to 10 of them, at least 1 will be in F12 condition guaranteed.
