Up for SALE today is something few people have ever seen except in photographs. You are looking at a MINT DEFACED NICKEL DIE! Only 4 available at this time.

Picture shows a sample of what your defaced die will look like. All these dies are similar, but the serial numbers will differ.

Sorry there is no detail of the original coin showing on these dies.

These are NOT the new defaced dies you can get from the Mint that have ground off faces. These are from the late 60'S and 70'S when the Mint used a TORCH to MELT the faces off the dies.
