For sale is the second rarest coin I have available! This coin is a 1807 draped bust quarter that is in Good/VG condition, with the date, 1807, showing surprisingly well and strong! (Uncommon for these quarters to have strong dates). In addition, the Caped Bust is showing nicely and the eagle on the back and words United States of America are partially visible! The coin has some wear overall with a small bend on the quarter.
All the Draped Bust quarters are quite rare-- this coin in particular is a really nice addition to a coin collection.
It will definitely add value to any coin collection, and will likely be the most rare and hard to find coin in any collection!
Truly a one of a kind scarce Quarter.
"Draped Bust" was the name given to a design of United States coins. It appeared on much of the regular-issue copper and silver United States coinage, 1795-1808. It was designed by engraver Robert Scot.
Drapped Bust quarters had a very small amount of time being issued, from 1796-1807, that's much less than normal old coinage at only 11 years!
These quarters are extremely hard to find and are amazing looking. The red book value of this coin is $500 in good condition, and goes in the thousands of dollars for fine/VF.
That just shows you how valuable this is.
I'm offering this old nice coin for only $285, and can almost guarantee you won't find this coin elsewhere.
At $285, my price is the best price I've seen anywhere for a Draped Bust quarter!
