There are two major varieties of the 1873 "No Arrows" Seated Liberty Quarter and this one is the "Closed 3" variety. There were two different styles used in the 1873 date. One style was the "Open 3" which had more space between the "3" while the other style was the "Closed 3" variety which had a much narrower space between the "3".
