What This Coin Looks Like (Obverse, Reverse, Mint Mark Location, Special Features, etc.): There was a rare variety of the 1839 O Seated Liberty Dime in which the reverse of the 1838 dime die was used. There is a difference in the size and alignment of the "O" mint mark. The normal or Small "O" was used for the normal 1839 reverse while the Huge or Large "O" was used on the reverse of the 1838 design which happens to show up on this 1839 coin. Depicted below is the difference between the 1839 small "O" reverse vs the 1838 huge/large "O" reverse. Please note the spacing lines and how the larger "O" mintmark is also crooked:
