1802 Draped Bust Silver Dollar - Narrow Normal Date
One major variety of the 1802 Draped Bust Silver Dollar is the "Narrow Date" (or Close Date) type.

The Narrow Date features the numbers in the 1802 date spaced more closely together and the "2" in the date is further away from the liberty bust. The Wide Date variety features more spacing between the numbers - particularly between the "1" and "8" as well as the "0" and "2". The "2" in the Wide Date is much closer to the liberty bust as well.
