One major variety is the 1803 Draped Bust Silver Dollar "Small 3" variety. This variety features a small "3" in the 1803 date with a slightly different style than the large 3 variety. The large "3" features an additional vertical serif on the top bar of the "3" while the small "3" does not have this extra feature.
