This 1 OUNCE TOP QUALITY-HIGH RELIEF 1.5" BRONZE medal was struck by the prestigious Medallic Art Company of New York City and is offered in its ORIGINAL BOX. It was offered for sale at the July 1972 festivities during the Centennial celebration of Otterbein, a town of 1200 in Benton County, Indiana. The sculptor was Warner Williams of the Geodesic Dome Studio of Culver, Indiana. He was also one of the sculptors of the commemorative series of 1966 medals done during the Sesquicentennial celebration of the State of Indiana. This is a true HIGH RELIEF MEDAL-NOT A MEDALLION! The original box is included.
Also included in the listing is are an encased "NEVER GO BROKE 1972-D LINCOLN CENT" and WOODEN NICKEL from the same celebration. All of these pieces were commissioned and paid for by me in an effort to promote the Centennial. The encased cent may appear slightly different than the one shown, but all were prepared at the same place and at the same time.
