This is a replica of the 1795 Draped Bust Dollar, Small Eagle Reverse, that is marked 'COPY' on the reverse. The 1795 Dollar was issued by the Philadelphia Mint with a lettered edge that read HUNDRED CENTS ONE DOLLAR OR UNIT. However, this specimen dated 1795 has a PLAIN edge. Only 42,738 dollars of this design were minted in 1795 and all in Philadelphia.
