This 1861-S $10 Gold Eagle is from the coveted Louis Eliasberg collections. This is truly a collectors coin because of the 15,500 total minted it is thought that only 80 examples are left in all grades. This does have a horizontal scratch on the obverse hat is mentioned in the Eliasberg catalog, but other than that it is truly a problem free original coin. She has olive golden glow and all of her original patina.
