Certainly not a common date in Shield Nickel terms, despite what PCGS CoinFacts has to say "¦ I rarely see one to purchase. The 1873 and 1874 Nickels are transition dates between the more common 1867 to 1872 dates (1871 being the exception in this range), and the low mintage or Proof only 1875 to 1881 coinage. Just a bit weak along the left hand side of the Obverse rim, however the balance of the coin merits the assigned grade. Regardless, too cheap in my opinion.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
