Item Description
The inevitable very old cleaning, however this still retains some traces of luster around the rims and is certainly a decent looking coin. A much tougher date in this grade range, only about a dozen at PCGS. Images of the coin taken prior to certification are also included, as I think they may give a better view of the surfaces and color. Now for a comment: I submitted this coin to CAC, and to my surprise they did not sticker it, why I have no idea. It is CLEARLY stronger than the 1896-O in VF-30 that they did sticker; feel free to compare images. So regardless of their opinion, I feel this is solid for the grade, and I stand behind my asking price.
