1912-S PCGS MS64+ Liberty Nickel, super PQ lustrous eye appealing example! Very popular San Francisco issue, the only one in the series. This one has the appearance of a superb gem MS67 and it makes me wonder if it wasn't a clerical mistake. If you saw it you'd understand why. It is super original with satiny/brilliant luster and eye appeal on steroids. CAC would sticker it in a heart beat in my humble opinion and it is a great candidate for an upgrade if you're into that because the only mark visible is minor compared to some I have seen on MS65 and MS66 slabbed coins that I have viewed over the years. This coin is free of distracting marks or planchet defects and would grace any high end registry set. It fit my MS66/better registry set without a problem and was in fact one of the flashiest coins in my set. It won't disappoint! There may be a few light scratches on the slab but not on the coin..
