1923 (P) Standing Liberty quarter. Major Die Break and Interior Cud. Very fine grade. This variety has a dramatic obverse interior cud in the recessed area on the left side of Lady Liberty. The coin is of a more desirable late die stage with the cud being quite sizable and very noticeable. This interesting error/variety is included in the reference guide, "Standing Liberty Quarter Varieties & Errors" authored by SLQ specialist Robert H. Knauss, indexed as K-0178, and details can be found on pages 322-324. This variety is also known as the "Big Brother Teardrop Variety." Quite rare in any grade and very difficult to cherrypick a copy. All 4 digits of the date are sharp and clear. Original Surfaces.
