This is actually a strongly struck 1925-D Lincoln Cent and they usually come average or weakly struck. Technically this is an XF-40 coin but although you cannot see it in my pictures, if you loupe the reverse you will see what most people call a light porous effect. In my professional opinion the coin is NOT porous. It really looks as if the coin was struck on a defective planchet that bubbled as it was produced. My pictures make the southwest quarter of the reverse appear much unnaturally darker than the coin actually is (SW quarter actually matches North half in color). The obverse has a slight ding at 1:00 o'clock which is noticeable but not majorly distracting. Nevertheless numismatics is all about eye appeal and that means that I am offering you an XF-40 coin at VF-20 money. (Stock #13503105)
