2017-D EFFIGY MOUNDS VERY RARE ERROR COIN
MAJOR BUBBLE(S) ON REVERSE
This should be an interesting Auction and it is only found on USACoinBook exclusively: Let us see if we can bring out the real buyers of rare error coins – this is one for Heritage Auction. Happy Bidding.
It is rare to find an Effigy Mounds ATB Quarter with "Major Bubble(s) on the Reverse" and so far my research does not reveal any others to be found at this time.
The bubbles start at the upper left mound through the field at a 45 degrees right angle and get larger whipping out the right bottom of the Y in Effigy forming a large void to the left top of the M in Mounds in the rim Devises with the Rim being untouched and intact for the most part -- JUST ONE LARGE VOID.
This coin is truly a real rare find and I have never seen this type of bubbles on the reverse of any ATBs.
NOTE: I am not a professional grader of coins and until these coins are certified properly there can be no guarantee of grade, however as a private collector utilization of standard ANA grading practices are applied to the best of my experience, ability and research.
Quality and Overall Eye Appeal varies between buyers and graders, and when grading coins it is a matter of experience and opinions: All of these vary between buyers, sellers and professional graders alike. There is NO Guarantee as to Grade or Value and we have only provided the reference grade AU/BU as my individual opinion and also based upon "the average being graded by grading services such as PCGS as an overall example for knowledgeable buyers and/or for educational values for less knowledgeable collectors. In any event no bidder should relay upon my opinion for their bidding and/or buying decision(s).
