For sale is a LOT OF 66 STERLING SILVER MEDALS! Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver! There are 50 sterling silver medals that are the official medals of the Bicentennial Council of the Thirteen Original States. Each one of these medals weighs approximately 1.1 oz.; therefore, when multiplying 1.1 by .925, they are approximately 1 troy oz. of silver.

There are also 14 National Governors' Conference Statehood Sterling Silver Medals. Each one of these 14 medals is approximately 0.9 troy oz. of silver once the math is done to convert it from sterling silver to assayer's silver weight. There are also 2 other sterling silver medals: one is an Elizabeth Cady Stanton, "The One Hundred Greatest Women of American History", medal and the other is a religious medal depicting baby Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. Both of these medals also weigh approximately 0.9 troy oz. each. The total assayer's silver weight is approximately 64.4 troy oz. in this lot!
