ONE (1) ROLL - True Original Roll 1954-D 90% Silver BU Washington Quarters Uncirculated / Mint State
Please note I have dozens of other BU Quarter and Half Dollar rolls including many scarce to rare dates 1940s-1950s. I also have over 150 original bank wrapped unopened rolls 1945-1964 quarters and halves and over 250 OBW dime rolls. Rare date 1946-D/S, 47-S, 1948-D Franklin, 1952-D, 1955, etc . All of which are true OBW, not the modern rewrapped crap often seen today. if you're looking for something that n particular mesage me to discuss
Listing is for 1 ROLL - These are All Beautiful truly original BU rolls of 1954-D Washington Quarters.
This roll is part of a 75 roll acquisition of original rolls all dated 1942-1956 from an old hoard that a collector from the west coast had been building since the early 1970s.
The rolls in the pictures are the actual rolls for sale. While you may not get the exact roll with the exact cap shown, or the same end of the roll toned coins, you will get an original roll from the same small collection shown. Of which, they are all of the same quality and caliber and all part of the same hoard/collection

Some coins will have bag marks, nicks and some will have spotting. Spotting is very common on original BU Rolls of Washington Quarters.
Don't misunderstand me - these are very nice coins, but I will not sit here and call every coin "Choice to Gem BU" like every other seller because it's simply not the case.
Choice BU means choice - le better than 8 or 9 out of 10 coins.
Gem BU - maybe there are 1 to 5 per roll. Some rolls may have a few more and some may not have any. If Gems were common, gems would be average thereby raising the level of what a gem coin is
A Gem is a diamond in the rough not something you find by the bucket load and is as common as they are suddenly made out to be lately
Coins will range in grade from lower end sixties up through mid-level gem grades with the sparse and rare coin of 7 or better. When you look at population reports, most have single digits graded in the highest grade available (almost always 7+ or 8). The reason just a couple or a few are graded at that level and maybe a dozen to 50 are graded the next step lower, out of the millions minted, is because they are VERY RARE at that grade level.
If you are looking for s high grade example in the 7 range, I suggest buying a certified one. You may find one in a roll of 40, but chances are you won't - that's why they're valuable
While numerous duplicate rolls of some dates are available in quantity such as the 1954 and 1954-D rolls, at the time of this listing, I have 4 rolls available of 1954-D BU Quarters available for sale.
PLEASE note, this listing is for ONE (1) Roll
