This 1835 Capped Bust Dime is a lightly circulated silver coin minted in Philadelphia with a fineness of 0.9 and 2.41 g of silver. This dime features the iconic Capped Bust design and is a business strike variety. It was likely swept out of circulation about 2 decades before the Civil War!
The date, all letters of "Liberty" and E PLURIBUS UNUM are clearly visible except for a very faint 'E'—key details for a Very Fine grade. There is a divot, but this is not a holed coin.
