1857 NGC MS65 Seated Dime, scarcer with stars type, a tough gem piece for type
another one that is at the top of the grade, could have gone 66 on a better day. tough early type is always difficult to find but here's another top of the grade full gem piece with tons of brilliant luster and above average eye appeal in a top tier holder. this pretty lady has very light gray peripheral toning over superbly satiny brilliant mint luster and nice surfaces clear of any problematic marks or spots. please note that there are a couple of hairline cracks in the holder but this is simple enough to fix- it can be re-slabbed at a minimal cost if it bothers the buyer, I think it was $5 last time I checked. it didn't bother us since it doesn't obscure the coin. a virtually mark free silvery white gem with the finest luster, a great piece that should please any gem type collector. we're getting down to the last several type coins, grab one or two for your set before they're all gone.
