1864 Bronze Indian Head Cent graded by PCGS AU Details (scratched). 

Beautiful example of the 1864 Bronze Indian Cent, very choice AU which would have almost surely graded 55, possibly 58 absent the "scratch".

I have sent a lot of coins in with bigger and more obvious scratches and had them not be certified in a problem holder. To be honest, I didn't even see the scratch, and it took me a few minutes to find it once I saw the grade. It is rather hidden in the design along the ribbon on the obverse. Have a look for yourself and make your own decision.

Aside from that, this coin has terrific color, good luster and very strong eye appeal.
