Item Description
Well struck overall with just a touch of weakness on the two Stars above the word "Cents" on the Reverse. Some light die cracks on that side and a TINY planchet flaw through the "U" of UNITED (seen as some very light "lines") but not what I call a problem with this series. Seems original with soft pearly gray color and obvious luster. This does not show the typical obvious hairlines that plague the Reverse side of most Shield Nickels, usually caused by a light cleaning to remove the toning that commonly developed on this series when housed in old Whitman folders. A nice basic Unc coin, equivalent to what you will typically find in certified MS-62 holders. Please note that due to value this will require shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown.
