Item Description
Choice Very Good, certified PCGS/CAC VG-10. A nice problem free circulated example of this Key date. 124 coins at PCGS, 62 NGC Pops versus only 9 at CAC (Aug, 2025). The low number of "beans" may be due to a somewhat limited interest in submitting a coin at this grade level, however my experience with Liberty Nickels indicates that a majority of certified VG-10s tend to be a "stretch" at the assigned grade. The percentage of CAC's at VG-8 is close to 50% higher (12 out of 176). FYI, no coins in the new CACG holder at the grade currently; per CAC policy this is guaranteed to cross if resubmitted in the current holder. Please note that due to value this will require Insured shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown. I commonly ship Express Mail at this value level.
