This is an unremarkable entry in the long Indian Head series. Circulated pieces are common, and Mint State examples are likewise plentiful in all grades shy of fully red gem. The coin illustrated was struck from worn dies displaying heavy erosion just inside its borders. Collectors should seek specimens struck from fresh dies having sharp details and smooth fields.
Several minor die-punching varieties are known for this date, but the big winner is the doubled-die obverse, FS-101 (Snow-1). See the VarietyPlus webpage at this site for more information.
