A 1898 Indian Head Cent US Mint Coin in "Good" Condition
This bronze Indian Head cent is sure to be prized by anyone who loves old U.S. coins! Struck well over a century ago, its obverse depicts Liberty in a Native American headdress. Reverse of coin features oak wreath and shield. In 1898, the U.S.S. Maine exploded and sank in Havana, Cuba, setting the stage for the Spanish-American War. That same year, the first Indian brand motorcycle was assembled and H.G. Wells`s book War of the Worlds was published. Recall these historic events with this vintage Indian Head cent!
