1909 Lincoln Wheat Cent NGC MS65 RD RED Cherry Red Gem In Older NGC Slab Beauty!
First year of issue, this 1909 Lincoln Wheat Cent has been graded by NGC MS65 RD RED
Beautiful cherry red gem level coin in an older NGC non-edge view slab which was used from 2001-2008.
This coin, along with many others I am currently listing, comes from an older collection from an affluent suburb west of Boston from a gentleman who has held these coins since at least 1993. This collector passionately collected al throughout the 70s and 80s and only stopped when his family and career obligations trumped his love of numismatics. In the time he collected he amassed a large holding of very eye appealing pieces. Most of what he collected was during pre-third party grading service era. He did submit a few dozen coins himself to PCGS and NGC, and all of his slabs range from first generation PCGS Rattlers and NGC No Line Fattys to the slabs of the early 2000s with no edge view.
True FRESH Material not on the market in at least 25-30 years, unlike the recycled. never ending gambit of coins being shuffled from vest pocket dealer to dealer in a merry go round game of crack and submit to squeeze every drop of value as grades get maxed out.
The coin in the picture is the EXACT coin you will receive.
