1915-D Barber Half Dollar PCGS VF20 - Sweet Coin with Original Surfaces

This 1915-D, or Denver issue Barber Half Dollar, has been graded by PCGS VF20

Wonderful, original surfaces to this specimen. Nice medium grey patina with a hint of the circulated rusty tannish brown tone that original circulated Barber Halves are known for.

The obverse shows a FULL LIBERTY visible. The 13 obverse stars show good separation and detail with many/most having some element of 3 dimensionality to them.  Solid wreath and forehead hair detail is visible.

The reverse yields over 50% of the eagle's wing feathers remaining and stretching from the center towards the tips. Just about 100% of the shield Horizontal lines are intact and show separation with only a touch of weakness in the upper left corner. Eagle's claw and neck feathers are starting to fill out. 

When I submitted this coin, I had it pegged as a solid F15 grade with a shot at VF20. To me it's close, and VF20 is surely a grade this coin is deserving of.
