Item Description
The classic Key Date to the series, Good+ certified in an old ANACS "soapbox" slab. ANACS called this a Good-4, however it is clearly a bit undergraded and meets the current standard grade for a Good-6. You can compare this to a PCGS/CAC certified G-6 I also have listed, if you have your doubts. Now I could easily cross this to a PCGS holder, and then send it to CAC as I am 99% positive it would sticker (with CAC, its never 100% ...), but I like the old ANACS mini holders, and I know others do as well. Since I live in the real world, and know how most people think about "grade inflation", I can't "push" this coin to the price level of a certified Six, BUT I am 110% sure that even in a Good-4 PCGS/NGC holder this would CAC, so it is priced accordingly. If you wish to destroy a piece of numismatic history and resubmit the coin, so be it. Listed for what I think it should be worth regardless of the label, plus my selling fees of course. Please note that due to value, this will require Registered Mail shipping, which is slower delivery time; please take this into account prior to considering a purchase (or please ask if this will be a problem).
