1916-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar
Superb Original Example of this very popular and quite scarce first year issue key date. All three (3) of the 1916 coins, P, D and S are rather scarce and somewhat semi key for the series, but the 1916-S is easily the scarcest of the 3. Very hard to find in problem free condition above G/Good. Almost every example I come across has been at least lightly cleaned, and many have been scrubbed, brushed or otherwise somehow mutilated.
NOT THIS ONE - This one has very choice unmolested original surfaces and the perfect gray/earthy brown circulated color. Very close to Fine; many or most) would call this a Fine (and many would go higher than that)...
