A very pretty coin with attractive color - I am not 100% convinced that the color is "original", however not sure it matters. Well struck as most 1916's seem to be, with nice obvious luster. No hairlines noted although given what you see with most examples of the date, widely saved by the general public as an example of something new in pocket change, I would have to suspect a VERY light, VERY old cleaning. Whatever might or might not have been done to the coin does not appear to have impaired the luster. The second image provided shows the coin in a 2x2 holder, to give you an idea of what it would look like in a coin album page. For someone who just wants a nice example of the date, for Type, or to stick in that pesky "1916" hole, this should do the trick. The coin is guaranteed genuine. Due to value this will require Insured shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
