1920 Maine Commemorative Half Dollar BU Tough Coin! Only 50k Minted
This auction is for one of the scarcer Classic Silver Commemoratives in the series, a 1920 Maine Half Dollar. This coin has beautiful silvery luster and clean, smooth surfaces. There are a couple faint and widely scattered hairlines that look more like cabinet or pocket friction to me.
Very hard coin to find that in the lowest of Mint State Grades bids at $119 on Greysheet. It quickly escalates in price going up to the choice BU grades.
