Item Description
A higher grade circulated example, becoming a Key Date in this grade range. Formerly certified by NGC, per ebay's rules and the commonly accepted standards of other sites such as this one, this is being offered as an uncertified (raw) coin. This was broken out for inclusion into an album set; I know the dealer who purchased the set so trust that the coin and cert match. For technical grading, the grade originally assigned is acceptable. It is also my opinion that the coin was lightly cleaned at one point, but not enough to prevent certification at the time of submission. As standards change back and forth with time (and have been a bit stricter of late), I cannot guarantee that the coin would regrade the same today. However, I guarantee authenticity and that the coin would certify as genuine if resubmitted. The surfaces are not horrible and retain a noticeable amount of luster, particularly on the Reverse. Certainly suitable for a better grade circulated set, it should be reasonable at the price shown which is adjusted for both the surfaces and the "trust factor" - it also accounts for the fees I have to pay here. Due to value this will require Shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown. I commonly ship Express Mail at this value level, at my additional expense.
