A low mintage Depression-era date difficult to find in full Red for a later date. As noted as common for the date in Lange’s book on the series, this shows a couple of light spots on the Reverse, likely due to the long storage this date suffered at the Treasury Dept. prior to general release. 297 at PCGS, 63 NGC versus only 12 at CAC (none in their own new holder), a very low percentage that shows the difficulty finding RD coins that meet their standards, despite the significant premium that should encourage submissions. Per CAC’s grading policy, guaranteed to cross to their own new holder should you wish to submit it (none yet shown in one of their new holders). Please note that due to value this will require Insured shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown. Optional shipping by Insured Express Mail - BOTH services quoted are below my actual cost.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
