The Denver Mint recorded its highest mintage of dimes since 1920, and this issue is plentiful through grade MS-65. Few of these coins, however, display Full Bands, the Census data simply reflecting a greater inclination to submit those that do. Many 1935-D dimes are weakly struck in one or more areas, though they typically feature excellent luster. From this date through the end of the series all Denver Mint dimes feature the Large D mintmark. One die shows this slightly repunched, but interest in this variety is limited.
