This issue is fairly available through MS-66. While most coins are less than fully struck in either their centers or peripheries, certified FB examples exist in sufficient quantity to satisfy advanced collectors. 1936-D are sometimes marred by irregular die polishing lines, these applied in an effort to remove clash marks or signs of die erosion. Varieties include a minor doubled-die obverse and numerous repunched mintmarks, most of which are very slight and not of general interest.
