1954 US Mint Silver Proof Set 5 Coins Still In Bags w/Staple OGP Toned Water Dmg
1954 US Mint Issued Proof Set in it's Original Mint Packaging. The Packaging has been water damaged and the tissue paper and the cardboard box are damaged but still together
The coins themselves are still in their original US Mint Issued Ziploc style baggies with the original mint staple holding them all together.
The Dimes, Quarter and Half Dollar all have some degree of toning. Toning which I find and would call attractive, but that is up to the beholder. Some may love it, others may hate it. I am speculating these coins toned as a result of being subjected to the moisture that the box, and storage conditions endured.
The quality of most of the coins is actually quite lovely:
The Lincoln Wheat Cent is a nice cherry red with hints of sunshine and fiery tone, smooth surfaces and great luster
The Jefferson Nickel appears to be high grade and has almost mark free surfaces and booming luster
The Roosevelt Dime has some edge toning and blazing white centers with sharp designs and beaming luster
The Washington Quarter is also toned with virtually flawless surfaces and has magnificent eye appeal
Last, but certainly not least is the Franklin Half Dollar which has blazing luster and terrific pastel tones.
Please note the box itself is water damaged and warped and the tissue paper inside is crumbling and clearly has been subjected to a moist atmosphere
Your bid is for the EXACT Proof Set pictured.
