For sale is an EXCELLENT example of mis-cut United States currency -- a Series 1974 $50.00 bill.
The is a C -- Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, PA. The serial number is C12782325A.
The mis-cut is on the front. It gave paper to the vertical left and horizontal bottom and took from the vertical right and horizontal top.
Overall, the bill -- now in its 52nd year in existence -- is lightly circulated and crisp, especially the all-important corners.
There is only one light blemish. Please note in the photo of the front the diagonal line going to from about 4 o'clock on Grant's portrait southeast to the lower right corner. However, the line appears to be shallow and does not seem to be visible on the back of the bill. As can be seen in the photo of the back, it is cut correctly.
Costs for shipping and preparation for shipping is $15.00. The bulk of that cost is shipping up to eight ounces via USPS Ground Advantage. I like Ground Advantage because the shipment automatically receives insurance coverage for $100 and a tracking number. If you have any questions, please contact me.
