This is a 1976 Thomas Jefferson Bronze Commemorative Medal

The medal's obverse features a bust of Thomas Jefferson, while the reverse shows a hand holding a quill and writing the Declaration of Independence.
The medals were initially presented to Mint and Treasury officials, but later made available for purchase. Original Bicentennial Case is included.
