According to the NGC Price Guide, as of February 2023, a Susan B Anthony Coin from 1981 in circulated condition is worth between $1.05 and $1.35. However, on the open market 1981 D Silver Dollars in pristine, uncirculated condition sell for as much as $3850.

Obverse: Portrait of Susan B. Anthony, facing right, surrounded by 13 stars with LIBERTY centered on top, and the date at the bottom. Mint mark, if any, is located off SBA's right shoulder.

Reverse: A flying eagle, clutching olive branches, appears to be landing on the cratered moon, with the earth seen in the background. 13 stars surround the design with the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR framing the periphery.

The 1981-D Susan B. Anthony Dollar has the second lowest mintage in the series. It compares in mintage with the 1981-P and 1981-S Dollars, as all three of them have mintages under three and a half million.

In uncirculated grades of MS65 or higher, the 1981-D is easier to find than the 1981-P or 1981S.
