The United States Mint and Royal Canadian Mint joined forces in 2019 to produce a beautiful coin set celebrating the two countries independent spirit.
This first-ever two-coin set featured a United States Mint American Eagle One Ounce Silver Coin with an enhanced reverse-proof finish and a Royal Canadian Mint One Ounce Silver Maple Leaf Coin with a modified proof finish.
The $1 American Eagle coin was minted in West Point and is legal tender of the United States. The $5 Canadian Maple Leaf coin was minted in Ottawa, Canada and is legal tender in Canada.
I purchased this set from directly from the US Mint in 2019.
