50 US MINT sealed cardboard mailer
Q10 - Q59 envelopes containing cello sealed date stamped first day of issue / first strike envelopes P + D 1999 - 2008 state quarters. 100 coins in total.
All are designated "first strike, first day of issue" on envelopes at a fraction of the price charged by grading companies for their graded versions.
In my experience, 95% or more of these quarters will grade very high.
These are rare in sealed condition, with probably about 1000 or less, of each issue remaining, Far rarer .. is a complete 50 state fully sealed set ... like this one.
With NGC charging $18 per coin for 1st day of issue designations, these US mint 1st day of issue mint sets are an absolute bargain at a tiny fraction of the cost. In my personal experience, most are high grade with few defects.
A few envelopes have state name and/or date written in small script, (like envelope
#Q30 in pics) but the rest are "as shipped" from the US mint..
The US mint Q number size, placement and use of square editing labels, (including for # corrections) are all completely legitimate.
All sets I've owned are like this.
These have been stored room temperature, in an airtight plastic bag, and in a cardboard box
There is a somewhat rare 2009 DC + Territories final year set listed separately, if you want to see what presentation sets inside these sealedm mailer envelopes look like.
