Official Medal in Bronze from the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco. Also cataloged as SH 18-1 "Bright Bronze" in Jeff Shevlin's listing of West Coast Exposition So Called Dollars - the SH number added to the NGC label (a new service they offer). An original specimen with interesting toning. Light bluish-green highlights over reddish-bronze surfaces, a bit hard to pick up in images however readily evident on the piece when viewed in person. The colors are slightly deeper/darker on the Reverse, indicating that this piece was sequestered somewhere undisturbed for a long time. Due to the planchest used, "Bright Bronze" pieces vary widely in actual color, as can be seen in the MS-65 example also offered (NGC 2384328-002, if still available).

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
