HK-409, SH 18-20, Montana State Fund Dollar, a souvenir of the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition at San Francisco in Antiqued Bronze. All of the "Antiqued" SCD from this period were produced by chemically darkening freshly struck medals, and then hand-wiping the surface to remove part of the toning. As a result, every specimen is by definition unique, depending upon how much of the chemical was removed. Montana's typically come in two basic types, which I call "milk chocolate" and "dark chocolate", as they tend to be distinctly lighter versus darker. This shows the light slightly reddish-brown surface of the "milk chocolate" type. Part of a group of four original pieces out of Western Montana (others of which may be available - please inquire if of interest).

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
