A tough piece from the lesser known of the two 1915 World's Fairs held in California. Mis-catalogued in the H-K reference as having been struck in Bronze as well as Copper, all in fact known are Copper. SH 19-3 in the newer Shevlin reference, R-6 or R-7. Most are found "antiqued", a chemical process hand applied to add artificial "age" to these souvenirs. This example, while listed as Antiqued based upon the assigned H-K number (SH 19-3 AC), is about as close to Copper as I have ever seen one, as well as being as close to RED for an "antiqued" piece as I think you can reasonably expect. Very few certified at all, tied with two other NGC pieces at 64RB, with one MS-64RD listed; this example is the only PCGS piece. NGC has added the Copper type as HK-433b, with only one certified at MS-64RD. So either way, in the Condition Census. Great eye appeal, as normally the antiquing applied tends to make these look a bit unevenly dark. Please note that due to value this will require Insured shipping with Signature Confirmation, hence the S&H shown.

This seller has enabled "Manual Invoice Approval" on their account. This means that after you complete checkout, you will NOT be automatically redirected to PayPal (if applicable) and will not be able to complete payment immediately. Instead, the seller will review the invoice and may, or may not, add or subtract additional charges, as explained in their policies and/or listing description. When the invoice is updated and approved by the seller, you will receive an automated email notification later, and you will be able to pay the updated invoice as you would normally.
All checks must clear prior to payment of purchase, which may take up to 12 Business days. IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS, PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE PRIOR TO PAYMENT. I combine all shipping charges to the minimum necessary to get purchases to the customer. Please be aware that the USPS has recently increased postage for package shipments and Insurance - $7-$9 for shipping may look like a lot, but it barely covers my actual cost. If you have any questions, just ask.
