Lot Of Five (5) 1860 Indian Head Cents Pointed/Round  G/VG, One w/VF/XF Detail

This listing is for a group of Five (5) 1860 Indian Head Cents.

Four of the Five are in the G to VG grade range. The first coin (top left) has VF+/XF Detail but has graffiti (scratches). I believe there are 2 pointed bust and 3 rounded bust varieties but please use the pictures to draw your own conclusions.

As always, SAM's Coins & Heavy Metal DOES NOT use stock photos. The 5 coins in the pictures are the exact coins you are bidding on and will receive.

I use PCGS Photograde and The Guidebook to Indian Cents to conservatively offer my opinion of the grade. Please formulate your own opinion of grade based upon the high-resolution images provided.

Please Note: I am happy to send a VIDEO of this coin, or any coin for sale (over $30 in value) to your email. I can and do sometimes post short videos as Shorts on Instagram or YouTube. This can help clients get a better understanding or feel for the luster and overall look of the coin.

Coin Photography is tough. Capturing coins which have reflective surfaces made of metal is very challenging. Additionally, one coin can look very different in different lightings or when held at different angles. I am the first to tell you my coin photography skills are subpar. I can never seem to get the lighting ideal and I have tried hundreds of tweaks. The good news is that 95+% of the time, the pictures look far worse than how the coin will look in hand. I strongly prefer it that way as I would MUCH rather have a client be pleasantly delighted the coin looks nicer, over disappointed the coin looks worse in hand than the photos represent it.

This is attested just by looking at the sheer number of listings where we point out a coin has been cleaned, lightly cleaned, harshly cleaned, suffers from Env Damage, or graffiti, etc. We put it in the title, the Grade Section and the Description of every listing. In many cases, coins that are very lightly cleaned are noted as such where I am confident the great majority of other merchants wouldnt note it.

We NEVER "Juice" or artificially enhance photos to make a coin look better or to hide defects. In fact, I try to emphasize the bad and the defects more than the coin's good qualities. Returns are a waste of your time and mine and my money as I end up paying 2 way shipping in most cases. The second to last thing I want is a return but the very last thing I want is any sort of damage to my business reputation.
